Smoke Break!

As an art producer, I onboarded and managed a team of  17 artists to produce 2D concepts and 3D assets for the game. Using Notion, google docs and google sheets, I created the full pipeline for asset implementations to Unity engine as well as overseen the full process.

I also assisted in organizing the art direction of the game project during pre-production.

Through focused coordination and communication, I ensured all assets were implemented into the game build within one week — meeting the Release Candidate milestone ahead of schedule.

I facilitated smooth handoffs between art and engineering, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring visual consistency across the project.

During pre-alpha, I identified a major blocker: tech artists struggling with Perforce due to unclear onboarding.

It was an issue overlooked by faculty as well as our team initially:

These artists were less familiar with Unity compared to Unreal Engine-- they had proficiency in skills but no context of our project's game engine.

I collaborated with the project director to create walkthrough tutorials and helped artists get properly set up. I then proposed a formal onboarding seminar to AGP faculty, and our tutorial video became a reference for future projects.
